1. Participant Responsibility

I acknowledge that participation in the Healing Power of Yoga & Art Retreat involves physical activity, travel, and creative exploration that may carry certain risks. I accept full responsibility for my physical, mental, and emotional wellbeing during the retreat and understand that participation in all activities is voluntary. I agree to listen to my body and participate within my personal limits.

I will inform the retreat facilitators of any medical conditions, injuries, allergies, or other relevant information that may affect my participation.

2. Health & Safety Acknowledgment

​

I understand that yoga, movement, and art activities may involve physical exertion and that it is my responsibility to consult with a qualified healthcare provider before participating. I affirm that I am in good physical and mental health and fully capable of participating safely in retreat activities.

I recognize that it is my responsibility to notify my teacher of any serious illness or injury before every class or activity.

I agree that the retreat organizers, instructors, and property owners are not responsible for any injuries, illnesses, or damages that may occur before, during, or after the retreat.

 

3. Accessibility & Special Needs

Casa Dulce Vida is a boutique-style accommodation with limited accessibility features. I understand that certain physical or medical needs may not be supported due to the property’s structure and design. The retreat organizers reserve the right to determine if participation is appropriate based on accessibility limitations.

4. Deposit & Payment Terms

​

• A non-refundable, non-transferable deposit of $500 USD is required to secure my spot.

• The remaining balance is due by December 15, 2025.

• Early Commitment Rate (until Nov 30, 2025): $2,400 USD

• Regular Rate (after Nov 30, 2025): $2,600 USD

• Payment instructions will be provided via email after acceptance of registration.

 

Failure to make full payment by the due date may result in cancellation of my reservation without refund of the deposit.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

​

Because retreat costs are incurred in advance, no refunds can be issued after full payment is made, except in cases of retreat cancellation by the organizers.

If the retreat is canceled by the organizers due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., natural disasters, political unrest, or health emergencies), participants will be offered the option to transfer funds to a rescheduled retreat or receive a refund of the retreat balance (excluding the deposit).

6. Travel & Insurance

​

I understand that airfare, airport transfers, and personal travel insurance are not included in the retreat price.
I am responsible for arranging my own transportation to and from Casa Dulce Vida and for obtaining any required travel documents (such as passports or visas).

I acknowledge that it is strongly recommended to purchase travel insurance that covers trip cancellation, medical emergencies, and unforeseen circumstances.

8. Assumption of Risk & Release of Liability

​

By agreeing to this Waiver & Terms and Conditions, I hereby release, waive, and discharge the retreat organizers, instructors, assistants, Casa Dulce Vida, and all affiliates from any and all claims or liability for personal injury, loss, or property damage arising out of my participation in this retreat.

I understand this is a legally binding release and agree to it voluntarily and with full understanding of its significance.

9. Code of Conduct

​

I agree to participate in the retreat with respect, mindfulness, and kindness toward others.
The organizers reserve the right to ask any participant to leave the retreat (without refund) if their behavior disrupts the experience of others or violates the community agreements of safety and respect.

10. Exclusion of Participation

​

In the unfortunate circumstance, if a guest conceals physical and/or health issues, is unfit, and/or causes disruptions that endanger the provision of the service and/or the health of other participants,facilitators, or equipment the guest can be excluded from the participation of the Retreat after an initial warning. If the situation arises, the contract will be terminated without further notice, already paid costs are non-refundable and incurring costs are to be paid by the guest.
